Waggy Walks Launch

I’m feeling pretty chuffed with myself following the launch of www.waggywalks.org.uk on July 1st.

Not only have I earned myself some much needed Karma points by volunteering to do this site but it’s actually encouraging others to do a good deed too!

The site is promoting a sponsored walk organised by DogsTrust. It’ll take place in ten parks across the UK on 18th October.

I have to give a big shout out to Jamie Knight for donating a micro simple license to use on the site, this made it really simple for the guys at DogsTrust to update the site, I’m going to be doing a screen cast on this awesome CMS soon as it really is mind blowing.

I spoke to the ‘top dogs’ at Dogs Trust on Monday and they said that close to 1000 people, together with their 4 legged friends, have already signed up to take part- result!

Not content with doing a free website and a sponsored walk- I’ve also signed up to do the Arctic Challenge with Dogs Trust early next year- I just don’t know when to stop! Keep an eye out for a site regarding that at the beginning of September.
